In many countries female education is far to often seen as an unnecessary indulgence, rather than a key investment.
We vehemently believe that women should have the opportunity to complete all levels of education, acquiring the knowledge and skills to compete in the labor market; gain socio-emotional and life skills necessary to navigate and adapt to a changing world and make decisions about their own lives.
Our Mission
The Duchy Foundations’ scholarship mission is to support and fully fund students, who for financial reasons would not otherwise be able to afford to attend university. Our aim is to build a network of future female leaders who through further education can reach their fullest potential, and are committed to improving the lives of their communities.

Through selecting those of excellent academic calibre, and providing them with both financial and non-financial support. The benefit of the scheme supports women in accessing a wider range of opportunities, and career prospects, whilst enabling them to contribute toward the development of their home countries.
Awards are for taught degree programmes only, subjects must be related to the economic, social and technological development within a candidate's country.
